The below Guidelines have been updated as of 25th June, however are subject to changes following Government announcements.

At Six by Nico, we take pride in the unique dining experiences that we bring to our Six by Nico community. The wellbeing of our team and our guests have always been a priority and as we continue to protect the health of those who work and dine with us, we wanted to share some of the measures that you will notice across our restaurant, split into the different guidelines set by the UK government and devolved administrations.

Terms and Conditions

Six by Nico is an independent restaurant relying upon bookings being honoured by our guests or sufficient notice being given of any required changes to reservations.

We therefore kindly request that diners give us 24 hours notification if a cancellation or an amendment is required: For all reservations, we require your debit/credit card details.

These will be held in a secure PCI-DSS compliant vault. A charge of the full menu price person will be made if the cancellation terms above are not met. Unfortunately, our experience of parties failing to cancel or amend bookings dictates this precaution is now necessary.

Unfortunately we are unable to hold unconfirmed reservations.

By making a reservation at Six By Nico you agree to our reservation and cancellation terms. We wish to thank you for your understanding and co-operation and look forward to welcoming you to Six By Nico.





Six by Nico takes pride in providing unique dining experiences to our Six by Nico community. Our team’s and our guests’ well-being has always been a priority, and as we continue to protect the health of those who work and dine with us, we wanted to share some of the measures that you will notice throughout our restaurants. 


We have divided into the various guidelines established by the UK government and devolved administrations.



Due to current guidance from the UK government, You can meet in a group of 6 or a larger group of any size from up to 2 households  For larger groups of two households please contact customerrelations@sixbynico.co.uk.



Gatherings under current Scottish Government guidelines is that a maximum of 6 people from 3 households are permitted indoors

All guests visiting any of our restaurants in Scotland will be permitted to wear a face covering when entering, moving around & exiting the restaurant. We will provide single-use face masks should you not have one with you. 


A maximum of six people can be seated together, More than six will be permitted if they all belong to a single household

You can rest assured, our teams are vigilant across all our restaurants and all our operations.




We will ensure guests are comfortable by adhering to guidelines from across all UK Governments. We will adapt these in line with any changes that could be announced.


Scotland: 1 metre distance currently, tables/seating spaced as such.


Northern Ireland: 1 metre distance currently, tables/seating spaced as such.


Please note we will monitor this closely and change according to government guidelines.




All team members have completed on site training on COVID-19 safety within the workplace. Their wellbeing is absolutely crucial to us and we continue to monitor the various requirements and personal precautions needed for their safety. All members of our team will be monitored daily before, during and after every shift. We will also continue to support staff who are more vulnerable during this time. As with our team we want you to feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible at Six by Nico restaurant – it’s a dining experience we want you to fully enjoy!


Therefore, we kindly ask you to monitor your own health and wellbeing ahead of booking or visiting our restaurants. This is vital to help us keep everyone safe. Should you have any hesitations at all, please reconsider making a booking or visiting our restaurant until you are completely healthy and completely comfortable.


Our aim is to ensure that the Six by Nico experience we all know and love remains. It is not our intention to confront guests at our doors with overt measures, that will overpower from your experience. If we learn differently we will adapt and feedback from our Six by Nico community is something we listen to with the intent to understand.
